Controversial blogger Baba Jukwa has disappeared from social networking site Facebook sparking speculation over the future of the popular page which has over 409 500 followers.
Since the arrest of Sunday Mail editor Edmund Kudzayi the number of posts on the page has declined considerably.
In the past the page has been taken offline and come back online again after a few days suggesting its possible the same might happen.
Two weeks ago Baba Jukwa granted Nehanda Radio an exclusive interview in which he/she declared “we are here to stay.”
We had asked whether the security of the page had been compromised given that as part of the stringent bail conditions Kudzayi was ordered to surrender the password to a Gmail account – babajukwa2013@gmail.com to investigating officer Assistant Commissioner Chrispen Makedenge.
“We are here to stay, there is no intelligence in Zimbabwe, 263Preeze team forward forever. Viva Pres. prof Jonathan Moyo 2018. We playing chess, check our matrix we have won in elevating Grace Mugabe. We started off with Amai Jukwa and then Baba Jukwa,” the blogger said.
“We sold these idiots a dummy, our main man Kennedy (Australian-based hacker) gave them what they wanted, access to our gmail account and they bought the game…hahahaha these fools.
“There was no hacking, we wanted money to keep us going and these fools thought our guy who we prepared documents as Kennedy sold them a dummy. Unfortunately Kudzayi also spent time posting on our page and was caught.
“Luckily there is no evidence linking him or any named suspects because these guys are hunting in a sand desert. We here to stay, Prof Moyo forward forever. We gave them passwords of our gmail not facebook page so people must not fear anything,” Baba Jukwa said at the time.

Real chessplayers do not play the game in the corridors of darkness. This baba jukwa nonsense has no direction and is not properly coordinated. It is a ZANU PF strategy to raise money for their party. ZANU PF is very much aware that anything that is anti-zanu is a money spinner and they also wanted to cash on it. This baba jukwa rubbish is a three headed snake born out of ZANU PF. The first head is used to make cash and the second head is used by Mugabe and the chosen few to instill fear within the ZANU PF cabinet and leadership structures. The third head is used as the crusher, to crush any zanu member or leader who is no longer relevant to the agenda of Mugabe and his chosen few.
Mugabe has won many of his battles, but there is one battle that he knows he will never win, that is death. He knows very well that his race against mortality is nearing the finishing line. He is using all he can to give ZANU pf the last shake-up so as to ensure that his empire and imaginery legace will be secured. By end of this week, Grace will be leading zanu women’s league and by end of Robert Junior will be on his way to lead the zanu pf youth league. By end of year again Gono will be on his way up to become the next president of ZANU. Anytime from now, Bona and his husband will be ropped in this evil web of elevating the Mugabes to rule Zimbabwe forever. Fellow Zimbabweans, stop visiting this ZANU PF created babajukwa facebook page and lets stand up together to ensure that we bury zanu pf in the same grave that we will bury Mugabe so as to free Zimbabwe forever.
For many, Baba Jukwa was the first to inform about Nikuv. For that alone, the site was pivotal. Unfortunately not long thereafter, the quality of information declined. This occurred around the time of the elections.
This suggests that the state infiltrated and turned it and/or its major source of information in ZANU PF was identified and ‘silenced’. A shutdown is long overdue.
