We must resign to allow new blood : Mugabe

via We must resign to allow new blood : Mugabe 15 August 2014

PRESIDENT Robert Mugabe yesterday said he together with all the members of the Zanu PF politburo and central committee will have to resign their posts to allow for election of new blood at the party’s elective congress in December.

Mugabe, who is Zanu PF president and first secretary, made the remarks at the official opening of the Women’s League conference in Harare.

“You are meeting in preparation for the national people’s congress at the end of the year and at that congress, all the leaders of the party at the central committee and politburo level must resign.

All of us must resign so new ones can be chosen and I am sure you are aware of that,” he said. Mugabe denounced party leaders involved in vote-buying and intimidation ahead of the congress.

“They are some who are playing dirty, wanting to have candidates favourable to them. Beware of that,” Mugabe told thousands of women and leaders at the meeting.
Mugabe said there should be no fighting within Zanu PF, adding that the main fight should be to ensure the party’s economic blueprint, ZimAsset, was implemented to turn around the country’s economic fortunes.

“I hope preparations for this conference do show better preparation than was the case with the preceding one, that for the Youth League,” Mugabe said.

“I want once again to apologise for our behaviour. There were many blunders in preparing for the Youth League conference and very many, some of them even criminal blunders, in interfering with the rights of members of the Youth League to have their own choice of who they preferred and to elect their own candidates for only two positions.”

He added: “I want to repeat this and say, please forgive us the party leaders for our blunders. We didn’t plan well the Youth League conference. We encountered a lot of things that we didn’t handle well, but the most blunders were the embarrassing way we interfered with the process.”

He said it was sad that senior officials in the politburo fought hard to influence the outcome of the Youth League elections in an embarrassing manner which should not be repeated in the Women’s League.

“We didn’t have money for food and money to pay for lorries and buses, but we got money to buy people. I plead with women that you should have respect for your standing. We don’t want to interfere like we did with youths in your affairs. If already it has been done, don’t do what you don’t want to do, what you are forced to do.”

The man is trying to set up his Dynasty. He doesn’t trust any of his colleagues. Now you will see the true extent of the Zanu split. This might turn out to be a door of opportunity to be rid of this evil for once and for all. The Snake bites it’s self.

He calls Mugabe He the President and ONLY leader he knows. He harasses Mutasa and Mujuru. Mutasa calls him MAD MAN. I wonder how they sit and talk to each other.

Being interviewed by his Baba Mdiki Super(what a name) Mandiwanzira he once said “in politics unoruma uchifuridzira” he is master in that. Tsvangirai was told,”I will let you win and you will take over, relax”, Mai Mujuru was told campaign for me and after victory I will retire and you will take over.

Mdara Josh was promised PF leadership in the 1980 Elections.

“If we finish the land reform programme we will step down since we would have accomplished our objectives of going to the war.”

Mugabe is a shrewed dishonest person who can lie and twist facts and unfortunately only fools believe him.

Today many educated fools believe Mugabe had initiated land reform because of Blair not honouring British pledge. But the truth it was hurried in after the loss of 2000 referendum with the elections being moved to June 2000.

Trust Mugabe at your own peril.

Gentlemen don’t forget when the bladder and the bowel starts to fail. The brain loses control. For him it must be a blessing in disguise that he is no longer invited any where. Imagine when his PA’S have to say ” THE PRESIDENT HAS CR..PED AND P..SED.” You can control Zanu but you can’t control the bowel. We will all have that problem if we live up to his age.

Mugabe looking to re-align power balances. I suspect the Mujuru faction stands to become too strong after Congress unless he takes precautionary measures in advance. Mutasa’s post seems to be in the cross hairs.
Plus the issue of succession needs to be side-stepped again. More so this year when the Chinese must be courted to fund ZimAsset. After all, what more can he possibly do if his position is opened to challengers in December but (surprise, surprise) there are no takers?

Just another day at the office.

Mugabe is a man who has absolute power and authority over every single thing in Zimbabwe, but who accepts zero responsibility for all the negative outcomes.

Its quite interesting “all politibro and central committee members must resign”. He does not want to go alone because they demolished Zimbabwe together.

Mugabe is a classic case of the old toothless bulldog. Its all bark and no bite. All his so called loyal followers listen and it goes out thru the other ear. They do as they please in front of him. Whats he gonna do?

Im reminded of those Artenborough documentaries where the Alpha male in the Gorrilla clan rules with an iron fist keeping all the females sexually satisfied and all the young males in owe of his prowess and power. Then he starts to age and the young males become braver and challenge him to the extent of taking his females for sexual liaisons behind the bushes. He tries to maintain his hold but all systems ,eyesight, bladder … are failing. Finally he gets ousted in a brutal fight with a young aspiring full blooded male and dies alone somewhere in the mountain. Old and dejected.

One hopes tho that Mugabe takes Grace with him when he disappears to die.

      Only problem, Mugarbage and dis-Grace
won’t go off to die together – there is
a cadre of Generals, Bootlickers, Azz-wipers
and Politburo who need the idiot to survive.

The only way to beat these thieves is to
      over throw them. and soon!

They are actually over throwing themselves,
let them eat one another –
