Sunday Mail Editor Edmund Kudzayi, who is facing charges of attempting to subvert a constitutionally elected government, has been released on $5 200 bail coupled with stringent bail conditions.

As part of the bail conditions he has been ordered to surrender his Gmail account password, to report twice a day at Criminal Investigations Department Law and Order, not to travel outside a 40 kilometer radius from Harare Main Post Office, to surrender title deeds to his property and not to interfere with State witnesses.

Kudzayi was arrested last month after he was linked to the Facebook character Baba Jukwa.

Has anyone considered the possibility this “Baba Jukwa” character could be Bob himself putting a cat among the pigeons???

I really don’t want to feel sorry for this guy, because if what is reported is true, he was working with and for the regime. But it seems they have no case against him, otherwise they would not have granted him bail.
