President Robert Mugabe has appointed Shuvai Mahofa as the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs, replacing Kudakwashe Bhasikiti.
Bhasikiti was fired from government last week for behaviour not consistent with the expectations from him.
In a statement, the Chief Secretary to the President and Cabinet, Dr Misheck Sibanda said Mahofa’s appointment is with immediate effect.
COMMENTS
Mugabe wants to destroy Masvingo Province by giving that imbecile the office of resident minister. Her purpose is to report every detail happening in the province to Mugabe. She does not have support even in her home constituency of Gutu South.

The only reason why liberation movements and democracy in Africa has failed is that being a minister is a career. Why cant be a person be minister for one term and leave it to others. Some people had been ministers since 1980. Zimbabwe is for all.
