Zhuwao warns fellow ministers

via Zhuwao warns fellow ministers – NewsDay October 13, 2015

Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment minister Patrick Zhuwao yesterday warned his Cabinet colleagues “who dine and wine at embassies” that their endeavours to block his proposed indigenisation levy were bound to fail.

BY NUNURAI JENA

Addressing a Zanu PF provincial co-ordinating committee meeting in Chinhoyi, Zhuwao took a swipe at some unnamed ministers for allegedly sending wrong signals to the world concerning the country’s indigenisation policy.

“Those are ignorant utterances from some high-level government officials including ministers, who promise to review the policy . . . That will not happen in my tenure as minister unless the people of Zimbabwe reverse that,” said Zhuwao, who is President Robert Robert Mugabe’s nephew.

He said he had directed all provincial and district youth officers around the country to work hand-in-hand with Zanu PF and all people regardless of their political affiliation.

Zhuwao has in the past accused Finance minister Patrick Chinamasa of stifling his programmes and threatening to retrench over 10 000 youth officers employed in the civil service.

A few quotes to zhuwao to ponder

“I prefer the wisdom of the unlearned to the folly of the loquacious”
“He only employs his passion who can make no use of his reason”
“I am not ashamed to confess I am ignorant of what I do not know”
“Skillful listening is the best remedy for loneliness, loquaciousness, and laryngitis.”
“We are all born ignorant, but one must work hard to remain stupid.”

i could add more, but hopefully zhuwao will get the picture.

Zhwawo “warns” fellow ministers, First Lady “dictates” to VPs and Charamba “warns” the media. Is it not worrying that the President’s relatives have adopted the habit of appearing to be co-presidents. Where are they getting all this power?
