Zimbabwe sinks further into deflation

Zimbabwe’s annual inflation for March has slipped to -0.91 percent, shedding 0.42 percentage points from -0.49 percent in February, the statistics office said on Tuesday. The month on month inflation rate in March was -0.22 percent shedding 0.27 percentage points on the February 2014 rate of 0.05 percent.

    And we all know that the official figures are misrepresented 10 to 20 times. The rate of deflation must be between -4.5 to -10%

    Prices go down bcoz there is no money to buy; john remember inflation is the opposite, to must money chasing few goods.

    Morgan has a solution to this. An illegitimate government can’t solve deflation. Not at 9o. At 90 someone must sleep all the way

      Just being 90 isn’t the problem.

      The orchestral conductor Sir Neville Marriner is also 90 this year. He is as active and as good at his job as ever. Admired and respected by all.

      It’s being Robert Mugabe that is the problem.
