via Grace an ‘atomic bomb’, Mnangagwa – NewZimbabwe 15 January 2015
VICE President Emmerson Mnangagwa has said First Lady Grace Mugabe is a political atomic bomb because of the way she dealt with arch-nemesis Joice Mujuru in the run-up to the Zanu PF congress last year.
Mnangagwa was addressing a Zanu PF provincial coordinating committee in Gweru, Thursday, where he paid tribute to Grace for her “sterling contributions” to the party.
“The women in the party approached the First Lady Amai Grace Mugabe and requested that she comes over and lead them. We were not involved and twice she refused. They continued pestering her until she relented.
“We did not know at the time that the President Robert Mugabe was keeping a political atomic bomb at his house. She is like that bomb dropped on Hiroshima during the Second World War,” Mnangagwa gushed.
He said Grace Mugabe had single-handedly exposed former vice president Joice Mujuru and her acolytes’ plans to overthrow Mugabe and his government.
“She (First Lady) went around the country and revealed the underhand plots and plans that this group was planning.
“The fear in the people was removed and we saw them coming to congress freely. This was all because of this brave woman who took it upon herself to take this group head-on,” the acting president said.
Following her nomination to the position of Women’s League boss in August Grace Mugabe went on a whirlwind tour of the country and verbally abused Mujuru, accusing her of plotting to oust her husband violently including allegations of an assassination plot.
Mujuru has denied all the charges but she has already lost her government and party posts along with some of her most loyal lieutenants, among them former secretary for administration Didymus Mutasa and ex-spokesperson Rugare Gumbo.

As a Zimbabwean, l feel sorry for us. How are we allowing people like Grace Marufu to destroy the future and heritage of our children. With Mai Mujuru we were very hopeful of a brighter Zimbabwe post Mugabe’s tyrannical rule. Now with Grace Marufu, Zimbabwe is doomed.

Yes, what an honest & candid comment from Honorable Acting President. Indeed, they cant be an better words to describe Dis-Grace Mugabe. Those who no a bit of history know what an atomic bomb did @ Hiroshima and Nagasak. Also, those who may be very ignorant of that history but with some idea of science also know why atomic bombs are a curse to mankind.
An atomic bomb is the most destructive & lethal weapon so far know to mankind. They are by their very nature and for all intents & purpose meant to kill & destroy. The opposite is not known to be true – the atomic bomb is a killer weapon & never a constructive asset.
So, one needs to look what Disgrace has done to zanu pf in very short space & the havoc she continues to wreck poor masses of Zimbabwe – Manzou Farm residents are just a case in point.
Can any sane person dare open his/her mouth & say “no Mnangagwa is lying about Dis-Grace being as destructive as an atomic bomb”. Even the clowning Adv Dinha himself can not dare sink that low.
It’s a moment of truth; sadly coming from an equally destructive apparatus – remember the Gukurahundi mastermind.
Bury her 5000 Km under the Earth, together with that Fool, and let her explode there.
Well said Cde ED. She is indeed as unstable as uranium. Uranium is found in a nuclear bomb war head. At least you were able to identify this. Maybe you should have added ‘a ticking nuclear time bomb’
In this instance I agree with Mnangagwa. Yes, Grace causes irreparable damage which lasts for generations. She is brutal and indiscriminate as she does damage and doesn’t care about the consequences of her actions. Yes, an atomic bomb she is but she needs to stopped before she causes further damage and makes Zimbabwe unlivable.
