MDC-T Vice President, Nelson Chamisa yesterday warned members who area plotting to sabotage the MDC Alliance exposing their said “ulterior motives.”
Chamisa was speaking at the Sunday campaign rally at Chisamba Grounds in Mutare.
Chamisa warned the said detractors, against plotting to derail the MDC Alliance saying that the coalition is irreversible.
While he did not mention names, party members immediately suspected MDC spokesman Obert Gutu. Gutu who has been at war with Chamisa in public, has been fingered for allegedly plotting to contest for the Harare East constituency, a move which is against the MDC Alliance agreement the latter which hands the seat to Tendai Biti.
Chamisa said, “The MDC-Alliance is irreversible; there is no debate about that. We are very loyal to it. If you have ulterior motives, then you can cause divisions. This is about people and this is about people who have suffered and the alliance is on the electoral act.”
