LOCAL consultancy firm, Human Resources Rendezvous Network (HRRN) has assisted 500 people in sharpening their skills in human resources organisation development matters.

The organisation, which operates under two arms — networking and consulting, has brought together professionals on platforms for skills training in various fields.

“HR Rendezvous has brought together close to 500 professionals on two different virtual platforms where insightful conversations are held to sharpen each other as professionals,” the organisation said in a statement.

“It has become necessary to professionalise the network by streamlining the activities of the network. The network, therefore, will operate under two arms, being the networking and the consulting arm.”

HRRN added that the company was established to provide a mechanism through which human resources and organisations development practitioners are given skills to enrich their professional skills and to network.

“HRRN offers a great opportunity to learn and connect with professionals across the continent and the globe.

“HRRN is a pan-African society that cuts across national boundaries. Members benefit through free networking promoted on various media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube, webinars, Zoom, WhatsApp). Members connect globally to create, rate, and discuss content in the human resources and organisation development fields.”

HRRN said it was lobbying government on issues to do with organisational development policies and human resources.

“This network is a body working collaboratively with interested organisations and individuals. We as the network advocate to government on human resources and organisational development policy, encourage individuals and groups to take action and provide capacity building services to community organisations.”
