The Senate of the Parliament of Zimbabwe passed the Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 2) Bill, as amended by the National Assembly.

The final reading was approved by 65 affirmative votes to 10 negative votes – sufficient to achieve the two-thirds majority of the membership of the Senate required by section 328(5) of the Constitution.
The Bill as amended by the National Assembly has now been passed by both Houses of Parliament.
