A non-governmental organisation, 4-H Zimbabwe Foundation, has handed over tablets to 27 extension officers in Hurungwe

District in a move that seeks to complement Government’s efforts in promoting food self-sufficiency.

The extension officers’ work includes educating communal farmers who are the backbone of the country’s food production on

good agronomic practices.

A Memorandum of Understanding between 4-H Zimbabwe Foundation and Government seeks to amplify e-agriculture.

It also aligns with the Government’s goals of achieving food and nutrition security through enhanced agricultural production.

The partnership has also seen eight solar-powered boreholes being drilled for the benefit of over 800 Hurungwe households.

Beneficiaries lauded the partnership between the Government and the foundation.
