What nobody seems to have realised among all the celebrations is that nothing has changed. Mugabe was an embarrassment, even to them so now we have someone younger and just as vicious. The only hope is that the elections next year are monitored by the UN. It could be a condition of any kind of big foreign aid.
Very true Andy , very true. The young people must now step up their game to ensure a fair playing field and keep those in power honest. DO not keep quiet again or else back to square one. BE FOREVER VIGILANT!
JUST 3 ITEMS
1) Stand United in our diversity by our common desire for freedom, justice and equality, and our heroic resistance to tribalism, racism and all forms of domination and oppression,
2)All Zimbabwean citizens are equally entitled to the rights, privileges and benefits of citizenship and are equally subject to the duties and obligations of citizenship (IRRESPECTIVE OF SKIN COLOR).
3)Fidelity to the rule of law is the centerpiece of a free society. It means that no one is beneath the protection of the law and no one is absolved of the obligation to comply with it. The government may not make a person or a class of persons exempt from constitutional protections, as it did during farm invasions, nor may it make government officials exempt from complying with the law, as it has been doing.
