Source: We will seize farms, says Mnangagwa | The Standard
PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa yesterday said his government will repossess land from multiple farm owners, which will be redistributed to youths.
Mnangagwa told mourners at the burial of former police deputy commissioner Griffiths Moses Mpofu at the National Heroes Acre, that a lot of land was not being utilised.
“The inquiry we made on agricultural land has identified lots of land which is vacant, underutilised and belonging to multiple owners,” he said.
“Government will repossess that land for on-leasing to the landless, foremost among them the youths.
“The land has come. We must cultivate it to grow our economy.
“I am aware that our youths are crying out for pieces of land and are eager to work the land.
“Our land reform programme was a success and never will it be reversed by those opposed to it forever. “
Zanu PF, under the leadership of the late Robert Mugabe, was accused of using land as a political tool after productive farms were parcelled out to cronies.
Mnangagwa is accused of sitting on land audits that revealed that there were multiple farm owners and people holding onto land for speculative reasons.

There was an incident in Caoe Town when armed gangsters went in and trashed an upmarket car show room. There is an organised gangster group that went in and murdered 20 000 civilians in Matabeleland in the early eighties and imprisoned Dumiso Dabengwa, Lookout Masuku and even Chief Maduna from Filabusi. This gangster gang then went and had another rampage twenty years later and stole 4500 farms for their top gangsters – now “heroes” being buried a their own private Crooks Corner. Then in 2017 a greedier sub group of these gangsters decided to change the guard in the gang and had a coup in Zimbabwe so that they could get more loot. Now they say that they are going to have another round of gangster fun – taking more farms and imprisoning opposition members, shooting civilians as and when they choose to. Welcome to ED, welcome to Zanu and welcome to Zimbabwe. This is the handy work of the British Government and the ANC – to create a 4 million diaspora and a failed state. For an organisation that would bayonet a 7 month old baby in Chimanimani in 1977 and then bayonet pregnant Ndebele women in 1983 – should we really expect better? As Ndebele people – we rest our case with the ANC, Joe Biden and Boris Johnson.
I am told on good authority that the Cape Town attack was on a very dodgy car dealer comrade – more than one side to whats going on down there at the fairest Cape
Not to forget Malcolm Fraser Prime Minister of Australia who also had a hand in bringing Comrade Doctor Robert “Matibili” Mugabe PhD to power in Zimbabwe.
