Deputy Information Minister, Supa Mandiwanzira, says that Vice President Joice Mujuru, despite her standing, is not a sacred cow and can be investigated for acts of corruption and abuse of office being leveled against her.
Mujuru has been accused of corruption following a scathing attack by First Lay, Grace Mugabe during her Meet the People Tours.
Mandiwanzira said the allegations against Mujuru reflected positively on Zanu (PF’s) commitment to fighting corruption.
“What these allegations tell you about Zanu (PF) is that it has no sacred cows. It does not matter who you are before the law. You must look at this as a positive reflection of a party that is committed to fighting corruption.
“If fingers can be pointed at high profile persons, then it demonstrates commitment on our part,” said Mandiwanzira.
He was addressing journalists at a press conference organized by Zero Tolerance Wise Consultancy to mark the International Anti Corruption day.
This year’s commemorations run under the theme “Break the corruption chain”.
Mandiwanzira said the purge on corrupt leaders within Zanu (PF) would not end with Mujuru, who has, however, declared her innocence.
“Those that have evidence against senior leaders or ordinary leaders of the party must bring evidence so that they (the leaders) are dealt with the legal way. As a ruling party, we are committed to fighting corruption,” said Mandiwanzira.
He said corruption required concerted efforts and implored the civic society and ordinary Zimbabweans to assist the government in fighting the scourge.

Mujuru is not a sacred cow but Grace is. With the loot in the Mazoe area, how much corruption or acts inconsistent with Grace’s office/standing do we want. Or you meant that Mujuru is a cow, not a sacred one in this matter.
The evidence of corrupt ministers is already there in Uncle Bob’s files. It is only used aganst those who are considered to be politically wrong.
No one is sacred including Supa who should have just remained a presenter at ZBC
