MDC-T treasurer-general Mr Roy Bennett has refuted a story quoting him as blasting party leader Mr Morgan Tsvangirai over the suspension of deputy treasurer Mr Elton Mangoma. The article, headlined “Bennett slams Tsvangirai”, which was carried in the March 23 issue of The Sunday Mail, was written by a Bulawayo-based freelance reporter, Simba Jemwa, who has been unreachable on his mobile phone after claiming that he has a voice recording of the purported interview. Through his lawyer Mr Tafadzwa Ralph Mugabe of Nyakutombwa Mugabe legal Counsel, Mr Bennett described the so-called interview as “a complete falsehood”.
He said no such interview ever took place. Speaking through his lawyer, Mr Bennett said he disassociates himself from the title, content and implications of Jemwa’s story
In the circumstances, The Sunday Mail is retracting the story and apologising to Mr Bennett for any inconveniences caused by the publication of the story.
A shame other opposition news media outlets including Zimbabwe situation don’t act as ethically with some of the propaganda rubbish they publish.

You are a good example of the hypocrites, thieves and murderers that run our once beautiful & prosperous country. One has to wonder, just how much more you Zanoids intend to loot and destroy.
If you don’t like what is said in other news papers, stick to your stupid Herald & Sunday mail, gudo remunhu!!
The real criminals in Zimbabwe are people like you who think that the criminals who populate ZANU PF are legitimate. Why don’t you roll over and die.
