Civil servants retire at 65 years of age, but Mudede has continued with his job as a top civil servant despite having long exceeded the limit. Unconfirmed online reports say Mudede was born on January 11, 1944, which means he is 74 years old.
“I am not going to disclose my age, and I am not the one to answer as to why I have not been retired yet, you must ask that from my employer the civil service,” Mudede bragged, imploring the legislators to direct their question to his employer.
