Following the events of the 12^th of July 2018 where Zimbabwe Republic Police officers at Ross Camp in Bulawayo were found casting postal ballots without ZEC officials with postal ballots in Stay Free sanitary pads boxes, Matabeleland Institute for Human Rights is inviting all local and international human rights activists to join the #StayfreeZimbabwe campaign.

We invite activists to use the #StayfreeZimbabwe hashtag to discuss and expose electoral malpractices that violate the right to vote as espoused in Zimbabwe electoral law and international laws.

For Zimbabwe and Zimbabweans to stay free of human rights abuses, it is important to expose all electoral irregularities as the country gears for the 30^th of July elections.
