The Public Service Commission (PSC) has directed to monitor staff attendance as workers had hinted that they will not be reporting for duty this Monday over poor salaries and poor working conditions. In a letter seen by Pindula News,  the PSC  said Monday is a normal working day. The letter was addressed to the Minister of State for Provincial Affairs, Permanent Secretary for Provincial affairs and Devolution and All Provincial Heads. Reads the letter:

RE: MONITORING OF STAFF ATTENDANCE FROM MONDAY, 9 2022

The above subject matter refers.

May we all monitor staff attendance in all our departments at Provincial and District levels in light of the proposed shutdown on Monday 9 May 2022. Kindly appraise Public Service Commission Office of the satiation obtaining on the ground after every 2 hours. Be advised that those who absent themselves from duty dung this precarious moment will be kindly asked to account for their absenteeism. Kindly note that TOMORROW 9 MAY 2022 is a very normal working day.
