Zimbabwe still faces a number of difficult economic problems, including infrastructure and regulatory deficiencies, ongoing indigenization pressure, policy uncertainty, a large external debt burden, and insufficient formal employment.Zimbabwe’s 1998-2002 involvement in the war in the Democratic Republic of the Congo drained hundreds of millions of dollars from the economy. The government’s subsequent land reform program, characterized by chaos and violence, badly damaged the commercial farming sector, the traditional source of exports and foreign exchange and the provider of 400,000 jobs, turning Zimbabwe into a net importer of food products.

Is this a welcome or a manipulation because of our diamonds , why are they so quick this time but too difficult to lift sanctions .Westerns are only interested on our minerals and nothing else . Indigenisation should be implemented in the near future or soon , now they will test our best diamond and after that they will flock into our country for more , lets wait for them while well armed with our indigenisation policy , no ways , this time we must share ,we can’t always go cheaper up to a period whereby we will run out of our resources .

Don’t worry ,don’t loose hope , this is the beggining , these Westerns need us more than we need them .

This statement is very misleading and factually wrong. Diamonds from Zimbabwe have always been sold in Antwerp especially those from Murowa and River Ranch. The statement should be about Chiadzwa diamonds not Zimbabwe diamonds. Please stop misleading the people you Herald fools!

Now the site is getting exiting. Come 2018 we will have found each other but not through Tswangirai. The sell outs are a miserable minority. They are only a majority on internet because they like seeing their stooge making laughable blunders.

@boss my ass your pic says you are a porn addict and your comments says you are a pedestrain analyst, just stupefy for a second and imagine the world ruled by ten good historiams like you and where would we be. Such myopic and peasent approach to politics is an insult to the intelligence of your vis-a-vis in this site.Back to the point indeed we need a paraigm shift economical, the gnu and 2013-18 dichotomy should be diaphonous, and we will never rely on this protogoras sophistry. We were told that the west are conniving yet we are back to them again, what happened to the look east?,why a sudden yes from this diamond community, this should be treated with caution because we need change in policies;its high time they praxically implement their manifesto, where they are good we will aplaud but we wont forget to criticise where we feel its wrong.Nationalist major tenent sees critics as helping and motivating
